Bronze Young Ambassadors

The best of Barnet’s young sports leaders were invited along to a special evening to recognise their achievements in school and reward them as Barnet’s Bronze Young Ambassadors.  Selected pupils across Barnet primary schools attended the event held at the Totteridge Academy on Thursday 7th February where they learnt about the Bronze Ambassador Programme and received training on what they can be doing in their roles back at school to help promote and increase participation in school sport.

The youngsters were full of great ideas and enthusiasm – demonstrating the power of power in its ability to inspire a Generation.  These young people were really inspirational and we look forward to hearing all about their plans when they get back to school– including setting up a school sport committee and creating a new school sport day.

The primary school pupils were also joined by our adistar young ambassadors from linked secondary schools who lead most of the training – well done to all the young leaders who did a brilliant job.

We look forward to an action packed year ahead.
