I'd like to invite you to the Barnet Primary Panathlon to be held at Burnt Oak Leisure Centre, HA8 0NP. The event is aimed at students with any learning difficulties / disabilities in years 3 to 6.  Note that Panathlon aims to involve students who rarely get to compete or represent a team in sport, so please choose your teams accordingly. Teams should be made up of between 6 and 10 primary pupils who will rotate around 8 to 10 activities, scoring the highest they can on each sport as they go. On each sport there will be volunteers from local secondary schools who will give the students explanations and demonstrations.

Date: 24th November 2017

Venue: Burnt Oak Leisure Centre, HA8 0NP

Time: Arrive for 10:40am, Competition Start at 11am, Depart 1:15pm.

Parking: Available at the venue

Lunch: Please bring packed lunch for your students. Lunch will be around 12:15 

Results: All students (regardless of final placings) will receive a Panathlon medal, and teams that finish first and second will be invited to the next round of competition against schools from across London.

Other info: Please ensure one member of staff who attends with the team is first aid trained, but please note the hosting school will also have first aid personnel on site.
