Pathway

This tournament is aimed at young people who do not regularly compete outside of school, but will be confident in playing competitive games.  The winners of the tournament will go on to represent Barnet at the LYG finals

Tournament Format

Each match will consist of 4 seperate rubbers (for example Boy 1 vs Boy 1). Team winners will be determined by total rubbers won

Teams will play competitive games in group stages with the winners progressing onto quarter/semi finals.

Team Requirements

4 players (2 boys and 2 girls)

Players should be numbered 1 and 2 - with your higher ability player as number 1

Rules

Courts will be set up as red ball format with a normal tennis courts split into 4.

- Please bring appropriate mini tennis rackets (no bigger than 23 inches)

Leaders will be supporting players to score their own matches.

School Staff Attending

We highly recommend school staff attending have been provided knowledge of the rules and tournament formats prior to arrival. The BPSS team will be able to assist with any questions on the day.

Spectators 

Are welcome, however they must remain outside the courts and refrain from taking pictures. They are the schools responsibility, and will be asked to leave if they do not follow the BPSS Code of Conduct.
