BPSS Virtual Schools League

We hope your students enjoyed participating in Football last week, through the virtual challenges, personal best challenges and leadership packs. A full breakdown of results will be sent tomorrow. A reminder that the deadline to submit your results for LYG’s Virtual Cross Country is Thursday 5th November, 5pm (further details below). The week back after half term we turn our attention back to the BPSS Virtual Schools League with Badminton.

 

Year 6 Virtual Skipping Challenge

A reminder that the deadline to submit your top 10 Year 6 Virtual Skipping results is 12pm Friday. Please submit your results via the website here. Any results submitted after the deadline will unfortunately not count.

 

744 Hour Strava Challenge

Team Barnet had another super busy week, surpassing the efforts of last week in all but one area (duration logged on foot).

In total our 65 members recorded 74 hours and 41 minutes of physical activity across the week, from 107 logged activities. 45hrs & 16mins were covered by bike, 26hrs & 19mins on foot and 3hrs 06mins swum.

New Age Kurling (NAK) - Save your bottle caps

In preparation for the BPSS Virtual Schools League NAK week (16th-20th Nov), please start to collect bottle caps for the challenges.

LYG Virtual Games – Cross Country

A reminder that Cross Country is currently live as part of the LYG’s Virtual Games. All pupils from Year 3 to Year 11 have the opportunity to represent Barnet in this competition. The aim of the competition is to get as many young people running and representing their borough as possible. Have a look at the suggested race guidelines here, we'd love to see you get involved! 

To take part simply return the attached spreadsheet to me by 5th November, 5pm.

 

Wingate & Finchley FC  - Half Term Football Camp

Throughout the upcoming half term (Mon-Fri), Wingate & Finchley FC will be delivering a Football Camp to children aged 5-15 years old.
