Pathway

We recommend schools bring A teams to this tournament who are confident in netball and are keen to participate in a competitive netball tournament. Students attending this event are allowed to play in the netball league.

This is a pathway event for year 5/6 netball. There will be no borough final tournament this year. The winning team in the morning and the winning team in the afternoon will be play a final game at a later stage. The winners will go on to represent Barnet at the LYG finals.

Schools can book on to either the morning or afternoon session - not stipulated on location in the borough

Competition Rules

Schools will be follow the Stingers Bee Netball rules, please see attached.

Bees Netball allows students to mark players with the ball, however they must be 3ft away.

Team Requirements

Squads of 7 to 9 players from year 5/6 following the appropriate rotation sheets. Schools booked on will be sent rotation sheets within confirmation email. 

Teams can have up to 3 boys, however, only 2 on court at one time.

School staff attending

Leaders will be umpiring games, school staff will not be expected to referee matches.

We highly recommend school staff attending have been provided knowledge of the rules and tournament formats prior to arrival. The BPSS team will be able to assist with any questions on the day.

Parents

Parents are not allowed on school site
